I stare into his eyes as they stare right back through me. He pours out his heart and mine breaks because I don't have the answers to set his mind free from the worry or from the pain. I don't know what to say to show him what he's got to gain. He's my brother, he's my bestfriend. God, please help me show him what he's got to win. I don't know what to do and so I'm turning to you.
For the answers I can't find beacuse I know you'll be by my side. I know you'll never leave me or turn your back. I know you will be my strength to get me through, so I'm turning to you.
My soul aches because I"m not there to help him bear this burden that keeps his head low. He shelters so much pain so much fear. Help me show him another beer is not gonna solve it. I know what he needs to set him free but the words won't come to me. I don't know how to ease his pain, I don't knwo what to say, so I'm turning to you.

For an answer to how I can make his mind feel at ease. For a way to guide him to you, so you can take his load off his back. I know all he has to do is ask and you'll be there. So in his place I beg you know, God show him how, to kneel down at his bed and pray. Take his pain, and if you have to, make it mine. He's all I've got to latch onto, and I can't bear to see him cry. With each tear my heart bleeds, he is so much in need of the love you can provide. But the words won't come when I try to be his guide to the cross, his guide to hope, his guide to life, his path away from stryfe. God, I don't have the answers, but I'm certain you do, so I'm turning to you.
